Agriculture
Traditional livestock region (transhumance route for centuries), Partinello continues to have an agricultural activity.
Sheep and cattle farms remain, and are mainly focused on meat production, in particular Corsican veal and suckling lambs. Part of the production is sold in the summer on site.
We count 4 breeders who have modernized their farms.
It should be noted that the activities of planting wheat, barley and flax have disappeared for more than half a century.
During the summer, tourism is the engine of economic activity with a population peak of around 500 people compared to just over 50 permanent residents in the middle of winter.
Shops with seasonal activity open their doors from the end of May to the end of September: 1 grocery store, 2 restaurants, a bar and 1 boat rental company..
The most important tourist activity is
summer rental
from professionals or individuals.
